In my devil performance I said mean things to people I had been in a lgbtq artist camp with for two weeks, we had an exhibition at the end.
I did it because the camp was supposed to be a safe space for all people but in the end it really didn't turn out to be a safe space.
There were a lot of messed up people in the group, so I cleared the air a bit by bringing all this negativity out in my performance.
Then my friend Gina dressed up as a witch and we terrorized people together.
When the exhibition ended, we danced through Groningen with dark techno and incense with us.
We were talking to strangers all the time, about human mechanisms and how human interaction goes and stuff.
I feel like that was part of the work too.
